Genesys Demo Image - DEMOSRV Lab Edition - March 2019

The March 2019 DEMOSRV Lab Edition Demo environment is available as a VMware Virtual Disk. You will need approximately 210GB of free space on your hard drive (150GB for extracted VMware virtual disk file and 60GB for the compressed distribution files). A minimum of 13GB of RAM allocated to the virtual machine is required to adequately run the image. This means that your host must have a minimum of 16GB of RAM, but 32GB is recommended. A solid state drive (SSD) is also required. Please refer to the complete list of requirements below.

You will use an FTP client to download the environment to your local machine. Additional download information will be provided via email after signing up and activating your FTP account.

Requirements

• Processor - The minimum requirement is a dual core or dual processor machine running at 2GHz or faster - a quad core is recommended. If you have a slower machine, or a single core machine, you may experience performance problems running the environment.
• VMware Software - The demo is delivered as a VMware virtual machine. You must have one of the following VMware products installed before running the application: Workstation 14.0+, Player 14.0+, or Fusion 10.0+. The downloads for this software will be on the FTP site that you will be provided with.
• Hard Drive - A Solid State Drive is required. Space requirements: 60GB for compressed distribution files and 150GB for virtual machine files. The file system needs to support large file sizes. NTFS is needed for Windows users - FAT and FAT32 will not work.
• Memory (RAM) - 13GB allocated to the VM. This means your host should have 16GB of RAM at a minimum. 32GB is recommended.
• Host Operating System - Your host operating system must be a 64 bit system. 32 bit hosts can only address 4GB of RAM.
• Sound / Multimedia Adapter - Your demo PC must have a sound adapter, speakers and a microphone.

Requirements specific to the Partner version of the demo image:

• Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 Server Standard Edition License - All partners must obtain or use their own Windows 2008 R2 Server Standard Edition License.
• SQL Server Licenses - The demo requires 10 'user' licenses for SQL Server 2014.
